The Book Thief Summary

The Book Thief is about a foster girl who lived just outside of Munich. Her foster father, an accordion player showed her how to read. After reading her first book which she got from her brothers burial she found a love for reading. She then began a routine of thievery. She didn't steel what normal thieves steel, she stole books. Liesel or the book thief as they called her shared her books with her friends and neighbors. The family which took care of her was killed in an air raid and miraculously she and Max, a Jews that the family kept hidden was not killed.
