Blog 1: Bomb by Steve Sheinkin - Summary and Genre

The book Bomb is about the creation of the atomic bomb. It goes step by step through every thing that happened in order to create the worlds deadliest weapon. It all started with a German scientist who made an important discovery. He found that when Uranium atoms were placed next to radioactive material they split into too. This discovery sparked a race against three continents to create the "atomic bomb".

The genre of Bomb is Historical Non-Fiction. There are many real events and dates and history. The book allows you to learn a lot about the creation of the atomic bomb. The entire book is "real" and doesn't have any fictitious material. It was a very interesting book and I would recommend it to any one who is interested in learning about WWII events

2015 Goals

My academic goal, for 2015 is to be stop procrastinating. Last year I would wait till the last minute to do every assignment. This added lots of stress to me and caused me to do the work not as good as I could've. For now on I will do my assignments little by little in order to complete them on time and do a better job.

My personal goal is to be more respectful to the people around me. I am very disrespectful to my parents and would like to try and be more respectful. When my parents tell me something I will try not to talk back to them.
