Blog 2: One Came Home by Amy Timberlake - Summary and Conflict

In the small town of Placid, Wisconsin, in 1871, A girl goes missing. Georgie Burkhardt, the sister is known for her habit of speaking her mind plainly. When she goes to far and tells Agatha, something she shouldn't of Agatha runs of with a pack of pigeoners. The pigeoners are trailing the passenger pigeon migration. When the Sheriff finds a body that resembles Agatha it is assumed that it is her. Georgie doesn't believe it and runs off to find her sister.

The conflict in One Came home is that Georgie doesn't believe the fact that her sister, Agatha is dead. After Agatha goes missing the town Sheriff went out looking for her. When he came back with the body of a girl wearing the a dress. This dress was the dress Agatha was wearing when she went missing. Everybody assumed that it was Agatha but not Georgie, she was still in doubt.
